To see what your shed costs and why, open Settings, then Billing. Storage is billed monthly in arrears on the month's peak size, so the bill follows what you actually kept. You need owner level to see it.
Shed measures your shed every night. The month's invoice uses the highest of those nightly measures, rounded up to the nearest 0.1 TB, at your price per terabyte. The chart on the page shows those peaks month by month, and the last bar is this month so far.
Two things worth knowing about the measure. The bin counts until it empties, so a big clear-out shows for 30 more days (see Get something back from the bin). And a file held for two clouds is stored once and counted once.
The invoice for a month is made on the 20th of the following month, or on the working day before when the 20th falls on a weekend, and is dated the 20th either way. It is emailed to your billing address with a PDF attached. The Invoices list shows each one, whether it is paid, and lets you open the PDF again.
Who the invoice is made out to, the currency, tax and any order reference are shown but not editable here. Write to accounts@shed.work and we change them for you.
Nothing happens quietly. There is a reminder three days before the due date, then notices after it. If it stays unpaid, uploads and sweeps pause first, while browsing and downloading keep working. Later, sign-in is suspended and your owners get a dated notice, with nothing deleted. A final notice names the deletion date before anything is removed. The exact days are in your agreement and on the terms page.
The same page shows what the shed holds: the size each month, files kept, how much has been cleared out of your cloud, files fetched, people active and uploads landed. Download the months as CSV gives you the figures for your own records.
Questions about an invoice: reply to it, or write to accounts@shed.work with the invoice number.
Tell us which libraries or drives are full and roughly how large they are. We size a shed, set up the first sweep with you, and most are running within a week.
