Shed

Terms

These are the terms between [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we"), ABN [ABN], and the company that has a shed with us ("you"). Last updated [DATE].

What a shed is

Storage for files your company has finished with, kept on equipment we run, with nightly snapshots, an off-site copy, a sign-in tied to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and a record of who fetched what. Shed Sweep moves files from your cloud into the shed and, only when someone at your company says yes, removes them from the cloud afterwards.

What you get

What it costs

The price per terabyte on your order, which is half of Microsoft's published price for extra SharePoint storage at the time, rechecked each quarter. You are billed monthly for what you keep, rounded to the nearest 100 GB. There is no minimum term. If the published comparison price falls, so does yours.

What you promise

What we promise

Limits

We keep copies and test them, but no storage is perfect. Our liability for loss of or damage to your files is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event. We are not liable for files that were never in the shed, or for what is in your cloud after you asked us to remove it.

Ending it

Either of us can end this with 30 days' notice. We can suspend access at once if the sign-in is being abused or the files are unlawful, and we will tell you why.

The law

The law of Victoria, Australia applies. Disputes go first to a conversation, then to the courts of Victoria.
